Like many people, I have a lot of pictures of my kids.  Every now and again, you catch a break and get a really good shot. When that happens, having a tool to apply different effects and filters to that great shot is important.  This is why I like DreamLight PhotoEditor. It’s a small little editor for Windows.

Like its name, DreamLight Photo Editor is image editing software that helps you easily add many different effects onto your digital photos.  With a selection of 15 different filters and ten special effects per filter, you get up to 150 different and unique tweaks you can add to your photos.

The fun comes when you combine them and use multi-effects in a single photo. For example, you can start with one of the Light effects, then apply one of the Star effects, then one of the Edge effects etc. You can mix and match different special effects onto your photo.

Pro’s: Easy to use, up to 150 different photo tweaks help you create unique photo effects.

Con’s: The app is actually very simple and doesn't do much beyond the application of its filters and effects

Conclusion: DreamLight PhotoEditor is pretty cool. It doesn't do a LOT, but what it does do, is pretty cool.  If you want to add a simple mask or filter to a photo and don't want to deal with larger, more complicated and expensive packages, this may just be what the doctor ordered.
